WPI's Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Policy
WPI will:
- Meet or exceed all applicable environmental and health and safety local, state, and federal rules and regulations for itself and its clients;
- Continually improve our performance-based Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System with goals based on planning, implementation, checking/corrective action, and management review;
- Ensure that our business practices and services are aligned with our Quality, Safety and Environmental policies and goals;
- Minimize the environmental impact of our operations by conserving natural resources, eliminating waste, reusing and recycling materials, and responsibly managing energy use;
- Provide our clients with a common quality product throughout all facets of our operations and throughout all of our locations;
- Systematically manage and minimize our clients' environmental risks;
- Use compliance with Quality, Safety and Environmental standards as a key ingredient in the training, performance reviews and incentives of all employees;
- Motivate and prepare all employees to take personal accountability for protecting the environment and creating a safe and healthy workplace;
- Be a leader in deploying and promoting innovative, cost-effective Quality, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures;
- Communicate the company commitment to Quality, Safety and Environmental quality to our employees, subcontractors and clients;
- Require subcontractors to manage Quality, Safety and Environment consistent with WPI policies;
- Provide an audit program to provide and verify effectiveness of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System.
WPI will periodically review and improve this policy, communicate it to all employees, and make the written version available to our clients and the public.
