Groundwater Monitoring

WPI first sampled groundwater for environmental purposes in 1974, and has provided large-scale groundwater monitoring services since 1981. WPI offers some of the lowest per-well sampling rates in the industry, and has extensive experience with groundwater monitoring requirements in every California county, as well as the states of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. If required, WPI also has the in-house capability to produce groundwater monitoring reports that meet the requirements of any regulatory agency.

  • Dedicated groundwater monitoring supervisor ensures coordinated sampling events are properly scheduled and required notifications are completed.
  • All groundwater monitoring data receives extensive QA/QC review when preliminary results are received to ensure the requested analyses were performed, holding times were not exceeded, the requested reporting limits were attained, and that the analytical procedure(s) meet their respective QA/QC standards.
  • Each crew operates a completely equipped sampling vehicle 
  • Standard services include providing minor repairs to well heads and traffic boxes (e.g., the replacement of caps and screws).
  • Collection of groundwater samples using purge, no-purge, and micro purge procedures
  • Ability to provide services over wide geographic area
  • Crews can meet the health and safety requirements of most facilities/organizations without additional training
  • Currently providing groundwater monitoring services at over 200 locations throughout California and Nevada
